Henry Mancini (April 16, 1924 – June 14, 1994), was a noted American composer and arranger. He is remembered particularly for existence the composer of music for TV and films and won the record total of Grammy awards (including a "Lifetime Achievement" award within 1995).

He was innate Enrico Nicola Mancini in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in the Pittsburgh surburb of West Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.

Although he was drafted into a Army in the period of World War Two, Mancini was able make their way a transport from either the foot to the band. A compositions for which he is better known include "Moon River" (a theme song from either the 1961 film ''Breakfast at Tiffany's), and the theme music for the 1963 films The Pink Panther and Charade. He is typically credited by having composing a music for the Peanuts movies, the easily-known theme Linus & Lucy'' in particular. Still, these songs were composed & performed by an additional prestigious jazz piano player, Vince Guaraldi.
